Danielle Bassett - CEO + Founder

Can I tell you how hard it is to write about myself? What about me? I’m really nothing special and until I can pay someone to write something fancy about me, this is what you get. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and since I was a small child, I have been filled to the brim with arroz con frijoles. I grew up surrounded by my extremely Cuban and extremely loving family. They taught me how to live, work, and keep pushing forward no matter how hard life got. They also taught me faith, which is the best part of my story. I do not have a ton of degrees and shiny metals to show you, nor will I. All I have, is this burning desire to change the lives of many. That’s where Girl Blossom comes in. I believe that through community, through empowerment, and through women we can change lives. We all have different stories, different passions, and different goals. Women empowering women, and women working together from different paths, can break that weird curse, we ourselves created, of women constantly competing and breaking each other. Girl Blossom is our hope of restoring a broken and dispersed community. I can’t wait to get to know all of you.

Kenia Najera - COO

Hi I’m Kenia and the other half of Girl Blossom. I am currently a Digital Media major @ FIU (not for long!), a virgo, and a complex Latina. I was born and raised in Miami (shout-out West Kendall), a caffeine addict, and pop culture enthusiast. I’ve dabbled in film festivals, bookkeeping, social media management, etc. Growing up in Miami, I’ve longed to find a community of girls that related to me. To be surrounded by girls who think like me, understand me, and have the same interests. Now, as a woman, I can make that a reality. We're all looking for a safe space and a place where we confidently can say we belong. Our goal at Girl Blossom is not only be a physical space for ladies to work together, but a community where you can escape, focus, learn, and connect. We’re here to make anything and everything possible for you.
