HAVE YOU MET DYANNA MORENO?
Our incredible, beautiful, and talented friend is a KICK ASS graphic designer. She pushes herself out of her creative bubble and creates gorgeous designs. We got the chance to interview her on how she reaches her maximum potential and what self-care looks like to her! Read to find out more!
1. What is your profession/title?
Long story short, I’m a graphic designer, but I’ll take on any creative project that’s exciting, allows me creative freedom and pushes me out of comfort zone.
2. What pushes you to meet your goals?
Knowing my maximum potential and visualizing it executed. I see my future self as a confident, boss-ass creative workhorse who leads by inspiring and encouraging others to manifest their goals.
3 . What is self-care to you and how do you practice it?
Self-care to me is simply doing what your body, soul, and mind need to recharge. Whether it’s taking five mins to breathe, close my eyes, and hyper-focus on all the senses I’m currently experiencing, sleeping in, taking the time to meal prep healthy meals so cooking doesn’t overwhelm me throughout the week, etc
4. What is something you can’t live without, outside of electronics?
I can’t live without love and support. I’m very independently driven and have always thought your problems are a burden to others but you really need to appreciate the people that love you and let them know when you need their help physically, emotionally, and mentally.
5. What’s one trend you hope never goes away?
Millennial pink 🙈 I used to hide the fact that I liked pink to be different from the other girls, but a blush, dusty pink looks cute everywhere.
6. What did your kid self-want to be as a grown up?
When I was 4 I wanted to be the female Bob Ross. Then I wanted to be a pediatrician because you know Hispanic grandmas want you to get a “real job” that pays a lot of money and you fall into that belief. Then I wanted to be an architect, an interior designer, a fashion designer, a social worker, and finally a graphic designer.
