Alright Jenn, tell us, what's your current title?

Co-founder of @madstudiosapp, Singer/Song-writer, and Dancer /Choreographer.

GIRL, That's AMAZING and a lot! What keeps you motivated throughout the day?

Good music helps motivate me to keep working. I love listening to the Bonobo station while working. It’s easy to listen to and has a nice up beat tempo to encourage working (and occasionally trap music for extra umph lol). I think what’s really helped motivate me lately is having the satisfaction as things are getting done on my task list. It’s the accomplishments that keep me going. I’ve recently taken a new approach to time management and have learned how to divvy up my time into percentages. It’s forced me to truly focus on what’s important “goal wise” and allows me to commit to only the things that fit in the specified time percentages. If it doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t go into a percentage category; therefore it doesn’t go on the calendar. It’s helped me really prioritize rather than saying yes to everything.

UM YAS GIRL, we love LoFi hip-hop too!

With your busy schedule, how do you make time for self-care? What is self-care to you and how do you practice it?

I think the biggest Self Care for me is making sure I’m right spiritually. It’s important to me to make reading the bible and praying an every day practice in my life. It’s the only way I can keep my sanity. LOL. Self Care is also mindfulness to me. It’s about knowing my boundaries and truly taking the time to listen to my own personal needs and attending to them. For me, that’s exercising and doing physical activities to stay in shape and remain healthy. I LOVE to dance and use my creativity by choreographing pieces, not just when I’m hired to do so … I also believe in brain exercises. In my case, that’s writing songs and stretching my brain muscles creatively. It’s one of my favorite things to do and I’m currently working on an EP project.

If you weren’t pursuing your current career path, what would you be doing?

Ahhh… that’s a tough question. I’m actually really content in all the things I’m doing right now so it’s hard for me to say. If I could have my way right now, MADSTUDIOS would be running itself, meaning we’d be an over night success, so I could focus on touring with my new music material, writing, and traveling all over the world. First stop, Japan.

Let's have some fun with these last questions!

What’s one trend you hope never goes away?

I have the most random list:
- Female empowerment
- Poke bowls
- Chicken & waffles
- High wasted shorts
- Crop tops

We're right there with you girl. But can you believe we've never actually tried a poke bowl??? Gotta get one now!

Lastly, what did your kid self-want to be when you were an adult?

I wanted to be a ballerina. I know most little girls said that, but I truly meant it from the bottom of my heart. At the time, what I didn’t realize is that I really just wanted to be a dancer. I’m glad I still keep that dream alive. I don’t dance as nearly as much as I would like to but it’s still a huge part of the little kid self in me.

How can our amazing girls find you on the social Internets?
